MEET top British Olympians as Becky interviews and gives advice in 20 for 2012
STAY TUNED to find out up to the minute blogs and video diaries
Becky Brunning and her great-grandfather, Welsh Olympian, William LeBeau were born exactly 100 years apart. He won a medal for gymnastics in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics; she can see* the London 2012 stadium from her bedroom window.
Living in the shadow of the 2012 East London stadium* she heard the sweet sweet, truncular, unforgettable call of Destiny; Britain needed a megastar for 2012.
The journey has begun – a meeting with an enamoured current British gymnastic team, a successful Edinburgh launch and a US tour all achieved as predicted.
With that 2012 Medal firmly within sight – there’s just enough of a gap in the training schedule for a quick return to the motherland – Wales – for a few performances of the live show, The Olympic Gene.
Also watch out for Becky’s foray into interviewing in 20 for 2012, where she will be interviewing (and advising) 20 British Olympians and Paralympians. ..
*sort of. And definitely if that building in front wasn’t there.
